A funnn, fundraiser for PolioPlus
Jan 20, 2025 6:11 PM
Martin Luther King, Jr. encouraged Americans to dedicate the anniversary of his birthday to a service project. In other words, make Monday, January 20 “a day on rather than a day off!” So you are invited to join SGR for our “Bowlio Against Polio” to raise funds for the final push to eradicate polio finally and forever. Here’s how it works: · A perfect game is 300 pins "bowled over." · Sooooo, those on your team are asked to solicit support from family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers at a rate of .25c per pin which will equate to a tax-deductible gift of about $25-$50 each.
What does your club get out of this event? · Bragging rights and a trophy for the team with the highest score. · AND/OR, bragging rights and a trophy for the team with the most money collected! · All donations raised by YOUR club will go to YOUR club to be forwarded to RI’s PolioPlus program before June 30, 2025.
Fiesta Fun has plenty of lanes and teams can be up to six players. Will you join us? |

Elev8 Clubhouse: dedicated to the belief everyone has potential
Feb 03, 2025 11:57 AM
Elev8 Clubhouse provides individuals with a supportive network including educational opportunities, vocational and life skills training, employment opportunities, and assistance with housing resources. The environment is designed to foster friendships and maintain a sense of belonging and well-being. Members take an active role in the governance and operation of the program. Our Clubhouse is built upon the belief every member can recover from the effects of mental illness to lead a personally satisfying life. We accomplish this by working side by side doing meaningful work and, in the process, forming strong relationships. Members are dedicated to one another's success - no matter how long it takes or how challenging it is. Our program is organized around a belief in the potential for productive contributions from everyone, in spite of the serious effects of mental illness. A program of SW Behavioral Health Center inspired by Clubhouse International. |
