It was a cold morning but more than 50 showed up to post the colors of our county on Sat., November 5. We'll pick them up again on Saturday, November 12.

Next Monday we'll be cutting grocery bags into strips and we need YOU and your sharp scissors!
We now have enough grocery bags to weave at least three sleeping mats for homeless folks in our community.
This project will definitely have a “bigger, better, bolder” impact on those in need as these mats – made of these recycled materials - said to raise the ground temperature by 40 degrees. We will cut the bags into strips during our regular Monday meeting on November 14 at the Abbey Inn.
PLEASE BRING SHARP SCISSORS FOR THIS PROJECT. We will need all-hands-on-deck!!!

Halchita children have written their letters to Santa Claus. What they hope the Jolly Old Elf will put under the tree are toys which don’t need batteries, Legos, Playdoh, bicycle pumps (even the gently lovedpumpyou no longer use but still have in your garage), any kind of ball … or ask your kids / grands what they recommend for children their own age.
Unwrapped gifts for boys or girls must be delivered to Rotarian James Jackson no later than Monday,December 12 for delivery to Halchita on Friday, December 16.

Bicycle clinics to continue until bikes are ready for Santa's bag of toys
Join us again on Monday, November 7 at 143 S. 100 West in St. George (in the garage) and every Mondayat 6 p.m. until the bikes are done and ready for transport to Halchita ... but as of today we only have about a dozen left to repair.
Please help with this project for a couple hours each Monday. Bring tools to fix what’s broken. We have invited a bicycle repair expert so we can get ‘er done in time for Christmas
