TODAY is "Cuatro de Mayo" (aka Monday, May 4)so please join us for our annual Latin Appreciation Fiesta. While there will be NO LUNCH MEETING the festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. when we gather in the southern pavilion at Tonaquint Park for a fun evening, yummy food provided by Carla and David Martinez, games, a pinata and entertainment by the local dance group Ballet Folklorio Xochiiquetzalli. Bring your family and a friend or two!

SGR supports youth service in two different ways. This year we are sending at least 4 (maybe more) students to RYLA. Our 4-Way Test Essay Contest saw about 100 local students write essays about people they know who best exemplify the characteristics of Rotary's 4-way test. Are there other ways we can and should enhance our support of youth service?
You've heard the presentation a couple of times so have you reached the point in your understanding you might consider donating to The Rotary Club of St. George, UT Named Fund to provide money for "service above self" projects in perpetuity? Here's how you can do it:
* Write your check made payable to "The Rotary Foundation."
* Deliver your check to SGR's Foundation Chair Dave Prisbrey.
* District Foundation Chairman Egor Shulman will collect your check at our party in the park on Monday evening, May 4.
* Egor will then fill out the necessary forms and submit your donation to TRF for club and individual member recognition. From there, SGR gets a check every year in the amount of our Endowment-SHARE account's spendable income.

Utah Rotary's DG Suzanne Wilhelm's two very ambitious goals for D5420 are (1) the creation of an Endowment-SHARE in the amount of $10,000,000; and, (2) increase district membership by a net 200 new members by June 30, 2026.
