This year’s Latin Appreciation Party in the Park - coincidentally on Cinco de Mayo and just a few weeks until SGR’s 18th “service above self” project in Guatemala – was very well attended despite rain showers on an unseasonably cool (56 degrees) May Monday in Dixie.  The evening included dancing (salsa, merengue and other), a piñata, tacos and elotes (aka Mexican street corn) followed by a tasty dessert of tres leche cake.

Thanks to Chris and Eva Parker for putting this fun evening together and to Carla and David Martinez for their delicious food choices.
Coats in May in Dixie?  It was wet and 56 degrees, but we had a good time anyway!

Chris, Eva and others showed off their moves on the dance floor.  Such fun!

Hey, Dale ...
you have a piece of piñata on the top of your head. But, no worries. It's a good look!

Happily, no new cases of wild polio with paralysis anywhere in the world as we hold steady at 10 since New Years Day 2025. We're going in the right direction, but polio is still out there with 2 cases in Afghanistan and 8 in Pakistan.

If you aren't already giving to the PolioPlus Society - at an affordable $8.50 a month or $100 annually until polio is eradicated finally and forever - see Foundation Chairs Bryan or Dale for more information.
