The "Is It FUNNN?" Committee will meet on Monday, January 27 to discuss upcoming possibilities for events. Please bring your creative mind and plan to join us promptly at 11:00 a.m. at the Best Western Abbey Inn.
On Monday, Feb. 3, our 2025 order of sweet, delicious, thick-skinned, easy-to-peel California navel oranges will be delivered to our eager buyers! The cost is $58 for a full case, $34 for a half and $21 for a quarter.
It is our hope each member of SGR will purchase - to give away or sell - a minimum of 3 cases.
If you are new to SGR, you should know these are probably the best oranges you've ever had, picked fresh from trees in central California (also known as America's fruit bowl).
And the winner is "Dixie-ite" Reed Noble with a final score of 118! In 2nd place was Alec from the Bawlers team with a score of 102 followed closely by Ken Sizemore at 100 (another Dixie-ite).
Thanks to those who came out for our "Bowlio Against Polio." It was all kinds of FUNNN when 19 Rotarians, family members and friends gathered at Fiesta Fun Center to raise $$$ for the eradication of polio by pledging .25c for each pin they "bowlioed over" or signing up to donate through the PolioPlus Society.
A trophy is on it's way! See more on our Facebook page.
Not everyone arrived at the same time, but we managed to get everyone in a picture!
Thanks to David and Carla Martinez who brought their food truck filled with treats and goodies.
When you can't get the ball down the lane, try another approach!
