Again this year, we are selling sweet, delicious California ORANGES and your commitment to buy and/or sell to neighbors, friends, co-workers, will make us successful.
Here are 3 excellent reasons ORANGES are vital to St. George Rotary Club … and more importantly, why we want to make this fundraiser another success in 2022:
We’re supporting Scout Troop #42B and Scout Troop #42G in Little Valley to help these young men and women earn money for summer events.
Funds raised will also help SGR do “more good” in the community, the district and the world!!!
A list of those you’ve sold to in the past is available by email. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE sell ORANGES in support of our Guatemala stoves project, our dictionary project, other club service activities … and about 40 scouts!
Cost is again $45 for a full case and $25 for a half case. The last day to order is May 6 with ORANGES delivered at the end of the month.
Interested golfers, please email to djhigbee263@msn.com or call 435-632-1268.
Ironman needs Rotarians
The Ironman World Championship will be held in St. George on Tuesday, May 3 (Parade of Athletes) through Sunday, May 8 (Race Day is Saturday, May 7) - the first time this event has been held outside of Hawaii in its 44-year history - and there are still hundreds of volunteers needed.
Many shifts are still open. See ironman.volunteerlocal.com for service opportunities in transportation, distributing drinks and nutritional items along the race route; course pointers; distribution of personal needs bags; traffic control; sorting clothing; athlete support (apply sunscreen, peel wetsuits, body marking, etc.); bike handlers; clothing return; Ironkids event; Parade of Athletes assistance and more.
