It's that time again when SGR's board members will meet on Monday, October 2 at 10:45 a.m. at the
Best Western Abbey Inn. Please be prompt as there is LOTS to discuss!

Welcome to SGR's three new members. This week
LaRene Cox, Janene Burton (not pictured)
and returning Greg Zemp were inducted
bringing our total membership to 63!

HWSG's kicks off next week with Welcome Bags Assembly project
On Wednesday, October 4, SGR and friends will be gathering at the Dixie Center Garden Room to help assemble those 11,000+ welcome bags for senior athletes from all over Utah and the world in town for the Huntsman World Senior Games.

Lunch will be served to all volunteers regardless of the shift you've signed up to work!
Don't forget to register for the SG Marathon aid station project!
On the early morning of Saturday, October 7, SGR's will man (and woman) the Marathon aid station. In SGR's 2nd year with this "service above self" project, we will be providing support to 5000 runners in the 47th annual St. George Marathon; 2000 half-marathon runners and 1000 5K runners at Milepost 18 (near The Ledges offramp). Up to 30 volunteers will be needed beginning at 6 a.m. with breakfast provided by Chef Dave Prisbrey.

We need you, your +1 as well as your teenagers, neighbors, friends and co-workers!

Questions?  Reed Noble or Dave Prisbrey have the answers.
Here's another opportunity to meet face-to-face with St. George City Council candidates.  Mark your calendar, bring your questions and enjoy a cookie ... on us!
And then there's this coming, too!

The total cases of wild polio since NYD 2023 - anywhere in the world - is still holding steady at
7 (5 in Afghanistan and 2 in Pakistan) - but don't be fooled into believing this terrible disease has been eradicated because it is still very much a threat to the children of the world.

PLEASE help us achieve RI's goal of ZERO by joining the Polio Plus Society at just $8.50 per month until polio is - finally and forever - eradicated from the earth, 'cause this fight isn't over til its over!
