Still time to register for District Conference
It’s now less than two weeks until RY2022-23 District Governor Jose Velasco and Rotarians from throughout the District 5420 will “Celebrate Imagination” at Utah Rotary District Conference on the weekend of May 4-6, 2023. He especially wants to invite you to attend the dinner on Friday, May 5, 2023.
It will be a delightful evening with special entertainment, a delicious dinner and our speaker will be IPRI President Shekher Mehta. The evening – business formal attire - will also include highlights of the RY2022-23 Rotary year, as well as dancing and socializing at the Midvalley Performing Arts Center.
This event is included in your conference registration but the cost for partners and other guests attending only the Friday evening gala dinner is $75.
On Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. Rotarians from SGR and some of the other clubs in WashCo will compete in a bowling challenge in the B Lounge at Fiesta Fun Center.
There are four lanes in the B Lounge and each lane can accommodate 8 bowlers (or would-be bowlers) no matter your skill level ... but "ringers" (among family members and friends) are definitely welcome to join our team.
Watch for more information coming soon ... but please mark your calendar and plan to participate in this FUNNN activity to also include getting better acquainted with Rotarians from other clubs.

Through the 1940's, 50's and 60's as many as 350,000 kids were diagnosed every year with the crippling - sometimes fatal - disease of polio.
Through the efforts of RI and our partners in the 38 years of this fight, since the beginning of RY2022-23 there have been
only31 cases ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
Despite the belief polio has been eradicated and is no longer a threat, it still exists so PLEASE won't you help us achieve RI's goal of ZEROby joining the Polio Plus Society at just $8.50 per month until polio is - finally and forever - eradicated from the earth, cause this fight isn't over til its over!
