Wow! What a pleasant surprise to receive a birthday card from my friends at Rotary! Now i have all the signatures of our most famous people. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. It made my day!

So punny! SGR's March 5th Monday "service above self" project will be at the Utah Food Bank beginning at 11:45 a.m. with lunch and club business. See you at 4416 S. River Road on Monday, March 31!
What is swag? The dictionary defines it as "filthy lucre" or promotional items, or goods given to people who attend/participate in an event OR, in our case, prizes given to someone who knows the answer to SGR's trivia question found each week in the club newsletter.
We'd like to up our game to provide better swag, so if you have promotional items in your company closet you'd be willing to share, we'd love it if you'd pass it along.
So bring your "filthy lucre" to Rotary and we'll have the "Is It FUNNN?" committee put it together for distribution to our weekly winners!
Thanks to all who have already signed up to serve on a SGR committee. Our membership, special projects, youth, public image and additions to our "Is It FUNNN?" committees now have sufficient members to get things done if we work together (although if you are interested in serving in one of the aforementioned, we'll certainly make room for you).
However, our Foundation / Fundraising committee is still short by 5-8 members, including a golf tournament chairman (or woman).
No one will be expected to carry a seriously heavy load. If you can spare a few hours here and there, please sign up!
DG Todd Boyer's membership goal for District 5420
is "2025 in 2025." Who do you know
who should be in Rotary?
Rotary Question of the Week:
This Utah-based organization has given RI $6 million toward the eradication of polio
in the past 5 years.
You can hardly call a month without any new cases of wild polio with paralysis a definite win, but at least we're going in the right direction. We are still holding steady at 7 cases worldwide since New Years Day 2025 - 1 in Afghanistan and now 6 in Pakistan.
If you aren't already giving to the PolioPlus Society - at an affordable $8.50 a month or $100 annually - see Foundation Chairs Bryan or Dale.
