Volunteers needed to deliver books TODAY!
SGR has taken delivery on another $750 worth of beautiful new books  and we need at least 3 Rotarians (more if you'd like to join us) to deliver them to the St. George Children's Museum TODAY after our Monday meeting.

Time involved is about 15 minutes - not counting the drive to 86 S. Main Street - including the picture because "it didn't happen if there's no picture".
Tournament volunteers needed
The golf tournament committee needs 3-5 volunteers to help on the Sunbrook course on Thursday, September 21.

For information, call or text Chris Parker at 801-643-4773 or email to cparker@bankofutah.com.
NEEDED:  Instagram specialist
SGR needs to further spread our Public Image wings with the addition of Instagram to our social media options.

If you - or someone you know - is interested in helping us tell Rotary stories to our community and the world, please see Linda Sappington.
SGR's 10th annual golf tournament will be held THIS THURSDAY, September 21 at Sunbrook Golf Course with a goal of "more than last year."

To date, there are 22 teams signed up to play so this is certain to be the very best golf tournament in SGR history. See a committee member for more information or to contribute your time, talents or money!

After golf ... comes Welcome Bags!
On Wednesday, October 4, SGR and friends will be gathering at the Dixie Center Garden Room tohelp assemble those 11,000+ welcome bags for senior athletes from all over Utah and the world in town for the Huntsman World Senior Games.  If you have not already signed up to help, please check your calendar. Shifts are 9 a.m. - noon or noon - 4 p.m. (or until we're done!)

Lunch will be served to all volunteers regardless of the shift you sign up for!
After the Games ... comes the SG Marathon!
On the early morning of Saturday, October 7, SGR's will man (and woman) the Milepost 18 aid station for the 47th annual St. George Marathon. In this, our 2nd year, we will be providing support to the 5000 runners in the 47th annual St. George Marathon; 2000 half-marathon runners and 1000 5K runners at Milepost 18 (near The Ledges offramp).  Up to 20 volunteers will be needed beginning at 6 a.m. for breakfast provided by Chef Dave Prisbrey.

For more information, see Service Chair Reed Noble.  We need you, your +1, teenagers, neighbors, friends and co-workers to be part of the FUNNN!
The total cases of wild polio since NYD 2023 - anywhere in the world - is still holding steady at
7 (5 in Afghanistan and 2 in Pakistan) - but don't be fooled into believing this terrible disease has been eradicated because it is still very much a threat to the children of the world.

PLEASE help us achieve RI's goal of ZERO by joining the Polio Plus Society at just $8.50 per month until polio is - finally and forever - eradicated from the earth, 'cause this fight isn't over til its over!
