Once again, SGR has been "booted out" of the Abbey Inn on Monday, April 7 so please join us at noon for lunch and a tour of the NEWoffices of the HuntsmanWorld Senior Games now located at 1572 S. Dixie Drive, Suite #103 (look for the blue and yellow flags at the front of the building).
Please welcome Natalie Larsen as SGR's 73rdmember, inducted on Monday, March 31 at the Utah Food Bank bringing our net total of new members since July 1, 2025 to 15!!! This real estate professional, mother of five and a devoted grandmother, is also a small business owner along with her husband Milton, including management of a small herd of cattle and as former owners of Larsen's Frostop. Her club sponsor Dale has been trying to get her to fill out a membership application for a very long time so we are pleased to now be able to call this hardworking Rotarian one of our own! Thanks for your persistence, Dale.

What is swag? The dictionary defines it as "filthy lucre" or promotional items, or goods given to people who attend/participate in an event OR, in our case, prizes awarded to someone who knows the answer to SGR's trivia question found each week in the club newsletter.
We'd like to up our game to provide better swag, so if you have promotional items in your company closet you'd be willing to share, we'd love it if you'd bring your "filthy lucre" to Rotary and we'll pass it along to our weekly winners.
Thanks to all who have already signed up to serve on a SGR committee. Our membership, special projects, youth, public image and our "Is It FUNNN?" committees now have sufficient members to get things done if we work together (although if you are interested in serving on one of the aforementioned, we'll certainly make room for you).
However, our Foundation / Fundraising committee is still short by 5-8 members, including a golf tournament chairman (or woman).
No one will be expected to carry a seriously heavy load, but if you can spare a few hours here and there, please sign up!

is "2025 in 2025." Who do you know
who should be in Rotary?
Rotary Question of the Week:
What is the PolioPlus Society and how many SG Rotarians
are members?
It has now been a whole month without a new case of wild polio with paralysis in the world. It's still out there, but at least we're going in the right direction ... while holding steady at 7 cases worldwide since New Years Day 2025 - 1 in Afghanistan and 6 in Pakistan.
If you aren't already giving to the PolioPlus Society - at an affordable $8.50 a month or $100 annually - see Foundation Chairs Bryan or Dale.
