It's time for District Conference on the weekend of September 27-28 in nearby Cedar City! This event promises innovative learning, interactivity, and a refreshing departure from the usual “talking heads” at these events. Instead, this year, UtahRotary's District Conference will blend fellowship, fun, and delicious food, all while clubs compete for $11,000 in club awards.
Mark your calendars for the last weekend in September, when we’ll gather in beautiful Cedar City, nestled against the backdrop of Cedar Breaks National Monument, and learn how Rotarians can use our clubs to do more good in the world. The cost is just $99 per person!
Register TODAY at utahrotary.org. And by the way, our club has two nominations which could mean we might be bringing home a cash prize of $1000 ... but only if we have a minimum of 8 members from our club in attendance.

Rotary International / Polio Plus and End Polio Now are asking Rotarians around the world to "double down" in the fight to eradicate wild polio with paralysis. This is another terrible week with 2 more cases diagnosed in Pakistan bringing the worldwide total in 2024 to 27 ... 13 in Afghanistan and 14 in Pakistan even as we move into "polio season."
The really, really sad news is more cases are expected next week!
Currently, just 53.3% of 1.4 million Rotarians and Rotaractors give to PolioPlus.
Please won't you join the Polio Plus Society by committing $8.50 a month or $100 a year until the wild polio virus is finally and forever eradicated? It can't happen unless we all jump into the fight!!!
