Happy Halloween, Rotarians.  Enjoy going door-to-door with the little boys and ghouls in your own life ... as well as those who come "trick or treating" to your address!

And, Rotarians ... in the interest of "will it build goodwill and better friendships," DON'T steal your kids' peanut butter cups out of their Halloween candy bags!!!
No bicycle clinic on Halloween, but there's always next week
And, we hope you'll join us on Monday, November 7 at 143 S. 100 West in St. George (in the garage) and every Monday at 6 p.m. until the bikes are done and ready for transport to Halchita.

About 10 volunteers are needed each week for a couple of hours. Bring tools to fix what’s broken.  We have invited a bicycle repair expert and others to join us whenever they can so let’s get ‘er done in time for Christmas

Veterans Day flag project scheduled
On Saturday, November 5 at 8:00 a.m. SGR members and their families and friends will gather at (your choice of) St. George or Tonaquint cemeteries where we will post our nation’s colors on more than 2000 graves on Veterans Day.  Then at 9 a.m. we will gather on the SW corner of Vernon Worthen Park for breakfast prepared by Chef Dave.  Everyone is invited!!!

On Saturday, November 12 at 5 p.m. we will gather again to collect the flags.

Questions?  Contact Service Chair Reed Noble for answers.
Bring your grocery bags to Rotary
We currently have enough grocery bags to create TWO but we need 1000 or more to create 3-4 sleeping mats for some of the homeless in our community.

BTW, these sleeping mats raise the ground temperature by 40 degrees on cold winter nights.

More to come on this important "service above self" project but in the meantime, keep saving your grocery bags and bring them to Rotary on Monday, November 14!
On the weekend of Nov. 10-12, Salt Lake City will see its largest gathering of Rotarians since the 2007 RI Convention when members from 30 districts in the Western U.S. and Canada travel to Utah. Join us on the "Trail to Peace" at the Zone 26/27 Institute where we'll Imagine Rotary in a peaceful world!
