The Colombian Friendship Exchange - including about a dozen Rotarians and their interpreters - will be in St. George on Monday, June 13 and SGR has been asked to show them around / entertain them. They will be attending our club meeting that day ... and supposedly going to Tuacahn in the evening (the show starts at 9 pm so there's time in the afternoon to be their tour guides).
They will be entertained by Dixie Sunrise Rotary Club on Tuesday when they will visit Snow Canyon and enjoy an evening social.
This will be an all-hands-on-deck opportunity. Ideas, suggestions and volunteers are needed. More information to follow.
About 50 Rotarians and family members celebrated Cinco de Mayo together at Worthen Park on the beautiful evening of Monday, May 2. Delicious tacos, tres leche cake with an inch of fluffy frosting and conches (sweet rolls). There was music, games, pinatas, socializing and lots of laughter.
Thanks to Chris and Eva Parker, Tom and Allison McArthur and Greg and Diana Zemp for putting this evening together (see more pics on SGR's Facebook page).

Delivery of Oranges
Thanks for your support of our 2nd annual orange sales project. So far SGR has sold 71 cases and our two scout troops have sold another 26.5, bringing us within one case of 100.
Our grower is bringing us valencias because it is too late in the growing season for navals but he has been having trouble with his big-rig. He hopes to deliver sometime next week ... SO IF YOU HAVE SOLD A CASE OR TWO BUT HAVE NOT YET REPORTED YOUR SALES, PLEASE DO SO TODAY!
We will let you know when and where as soon as we know so you can pick them up while they are still at the peak of their deliciousness.
Saturday, May 14 is your opportunity to help STAMP OUT HUNGER by filling a bag with healthy, non-perishable food items then placing it near your mailbox for your letter carrier to pick up and deliver to the Utah Food Bank and/or food pantries in our area.
Your help - and that of your neighbors and friends - is needed so donate and help spread the word!
