SGR's "Is It FUNNN?" Committee should add Ken Sizemore as a member!  Music master Ken, who was in charge of last Monday's program anyway, added a live, big screen broadcast from NASA of the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8 (the next total solar eclipse can be seen in  the contiguous U.S. on August 23, 2044).

To enliven Monday's meeting even more Ken invited members to "karoke" the appropriate-song-of-the-day "Moon Shadow" made famous by Cat Stevens. Thanks, Ken for bringing more FUNNN to today's meeting!

A huge thank you to Cedar City Rotary Club for their very generous donation to SGR's Guatemala stoves project.  We will be in Central America for "service above self" during te week of June 1-8 so it's not too late for you to book a flight and join us in this amazingly impoverished and amazingly beautiful country.

There have now  been 4 new cases of wild polio with paralysis diagnosed in 2024 - 2 in Pakistan and 2 in Afghanistan ... all diagnosed in the same week in 2023.

But, many experts still believe we will see the last case of wild poliovirus-caused paralysis in 2024 and the last case caused by variant polio-viruses in 2026!!

If you haven't already signed up for the PolioPlus Society at an affordable cost of just $8.50 a month, PLEASE do so TODAY!
