Do you still have a box or two of dictionaries not delivered in the last school year? Please deliver however many you still have to SGR Service Chair on Monday, June 10 so he can have an accurate count of the number of dictionaries we actually have for the next school year.
We are pleased to welcome David Martinez as SGR's newest member, inducted on Monday, June 3.
David is sponsored for membership by his wife and business partner Carla Martinez. David and Carla are the owners of the Yogi Snow and Treats food truck and snow shacks and are SGR's 6th member couple (including Tom and Allison, Jim and Joann, Linda and Ed, Ken and Barbara, and Terance and Tiffany).
The couple has two beautiful daughters, are fluent in both English and Spanish and are residents of Santa Clara!

To draw attention to RI and partners' worldwide effort to “finally and forever” eradicate the terrible, crippling and sometimes fatal wild polio virus, SGR's two-time President Dale and our incoming President Dave take a 14,000 foot “Polio Plunge” on Saturday, June 22 at 9 a.m.
Donations to Polio Plus can be made in person at the Hurricane airport at 800 W. 2300 South in Hurricane City or Venmo to @StGeorgeUTRotary. The goal for this fundraiser is $1000!
Mark your calendar for Monday, July 1 when we'll celebrate Bryan Thiriot's success as club president in RY2023-24 and pass the baton to incoming President Dave Prisbrey (RY2024-25).
Our Officer Induction Dinner will be either the last or the first social event of the year depending on which president you ask but it is certain to be very FUNNN ... and a whole lot cooler in Pine Valley than a July day in St. George. it will be held in former member Lynn Beecher's beautiful cabin.
It will be a potluck dinner with pulled pork sandwiches provided by the club. Those with surnames beginning with A-H are asked to bring salads, beans or another side dish of your choice. Those whose last names begin with I-R should plan to bring a dessert to share and those whose names begin with S-Z, please bring drinks.
Come early to enjoy Pine Valley State Park's walking trails, water play, fishing or maybe just find a shady spot to take a nap. If you've never been there, you might also enjoy a tour of the beautiful white Pine Valley Chapel.
