Remember to bring:
* a bag of canned or boxed food for the Utah Food Bank as your "ticket" into the event
* up to 25-30 "somethings" to put in a Christmas stocking (i.e., an orange, apple, small 2025 pocket calendar, packet of tissues, travel size hand lotion, or a holiday treat) to put in a stocking for someone who needs some Christmas cheer.
* your favorite "ugly sweater" if you want to compete for the honor and an exciting prize!!!

The GOOD NEWS is SGR bellringers for the Salvation Army's most important annual fundraiser raised $1086.15 so far in this holiday season at Ace Hardware, Smith's and Harmon's.
The BAD NEWS is there is a serious shortage of bellringers on any day between Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 24 at any of 15 locations around town, including Albertson’s, Smith’s, Harmon’s, Hurst Ace Hardware or Walmart’s in Washington County (some have two doors so need two bellringers).
Choose a 2-hour shift (if you can only give an hour it will be a great help) anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

This week another 3 cases of wild polio with paralysis - 1 in Pakistan and 2 in Afghanistan - were diagnosed bringing the worldwide total in 2024 to 81 (compared to 12 at the same time in 2023). Fifty-seven are in Pakistan and 24 in Afghanistan.
Please sign up for the Polio Plus Society by committing just $8.50 a month or $100 a year until the wild polio virus is finally and forever eradicated! Then the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will match it 2x1. But it can't happen unless we all jump into the fight!!!
