SGR's board has had many discussions relating to a car show fundraiser but are still considering whether or not this is a project our club can take on.
A visit to the 2023 Hurricane Rotary Easter Car Show - a Southern Utah car enthusiast favorite for 36 years - will likely answer our questions.
This popular and profitable one-day car show will, once again be held in Hurricane and, as always, on Easter weekend (this year on Saturday, April 8) at the Hurricane Community Center (100 W 100 S). From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this will be an exciting day filled with more than 300 fabulous vintage vehicles, hot rods and good company.
The annual event, organized by the Rotary Club of Hurricane Valley, is expected to draw a crowd of 8,000-10,000 visitors and raise about $50,000 for some bigger, better, bolder service projects, such as their HVRC-sponsored all abilities park.
Entry fee is $5 at the gate.
