Update on what's happening in St. George
City officials recently appointed St. George’s first assistant city manager to aid the current manager in day-to-day operations of the growing city and all the complexities which come with it.
Robert Myers, who served as the city’s budget and financial planning director since 2021, was appointed to the assistant city manager position during the council's regular meeting on March 6, 2025.
“Robert is experienced, well-respected and has all the attributes needed to be successful in this new position,” St. George Mayor Michele Randall said in a statement. “He communicates well with the City Council as well as with his fellow department heads, and is a capable leader. I am completely confident that Robert will do an excellent job in his new role.”
