It's that time again! On Monday, September 8
we will be back at the Best Western Abbey Inn for our monthly board meeting(s) - followed by our regular luncheon meeting. Board members, please plan to join us at 10:45 a.m. and you are reminded to be on time since, as always, we have LOTS to discuss!

Registration for District Conference closes on Tuesday, September 9 at 5 p.m. ... or when the number of Rotarians registered reaches 250!

SGR was willing and ready to scholarship 4 new members, young professionals or members who have never attended a District Conference but Rob and Eunice Sittman and Daniel Adams - all who qualify as "new members" and "young professionals" - have taken advantage of this one-time offer ... so that means there is only one scholarship remaining.

We're now only a week away so if you still want to attend as SGR's guest, act quickly before it's too late!

Four of twenty Rotarians who volunteered for the "Rev'd Up for Rotary" car show on Saturday, September 6 at Red Cliffs.
Thanks to the owners who were excited to share their beautiful classic cars with the community
This year's
t-shirts were a hit ... and a sellout
More than 50 classic cars came out on a beautiful fall day to show off and compete

Classic cars from the 1920's to beauties right off the showroom floor were on display

A variety of makes and models drew mall shoppers of every age and interests

Ten sponsors  - and Dale Desmond - took SGR's 3rd annual car show to success

Utah Rotary's District Governor Suzanne Wilhelm's goal for D5420 is a net increase of 200 members by June 30, 2026 (that's just 4-ish in each of Utah's 45 clubs).  So, who do you know who should be a member of St. George Rotary Club?

Rotary Question of the Week

RI's most successful and sustainable projects and activities fall within these
seven causes targeted to
maximize Rotary's impact.
Can you name them all?

Heartbreaking news ... 4 more children - 1 Afghani and 3 from Pakistan have been diagnosed with WPV with paralysis - bringing the worldwide total of cases to 28 ... 4 in Afghanistan and 24 in Pakistan.

While Rotarians know we're going in the right direction, we also know it's still out there.

If you aren't already giving to the PolioPlus Society - at an affordable $8.50 a month or $100 annually until polio is eradicated finally and forever -please see Foundation Chairs Dave, Bryan or Dale to sign up or for more information.
