Spread Awareness.

Get Vaccinated.

Save Lives.

Rotary's work on polio eradication is proof vaccines save lives.  Since 1988, 3 billion children have been vaccinated against this crippling - sometimes fatal - disease and cases worldwide have been reduced by 99.9%.

But we know the job is not done until every child is vaccinated, and polio - like small pox - is no longer a threat to the world's children.  Help us share the message ... #vaccineswork!

For more information, see the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation video on YouTube debunking the myths about vaccines.
We're going to the fair to raise $$$ and polio / Rotary awareness
The WashCo Fair will be held on the weekend of April 20-22 and we need your help as we prepare to raise awareness in our community about Rotary ... and polio ... and to sell more oranges.

What help do we need? More volunteers to staff our booth.

See the signup sheet being distributed at our Monday meeting.
Beans, rice and vitamins for Guatemala
If you aren't traveling to the "stunningly beautiful and stunningly poor" Guatemala on Memorial Day weekend - even if you are - you are encouraged to donate toward the purchase of beans, rice and vitamins to be distributed to those Mayan villagers we will be serving.

How much you'd like to donate is your decision, but the need is real.  See Dan if you have questions or Collin to donate.
Through the 1940's, 50's and 60's as many as 350,000 kids were diagnosed every year with the crippling - sometimes fatal - disease of polio.

Through the efforts of RI and our partners in the 38 years of this fight, since the beginning of RY2022-23, there have been only 31 cases ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

Despite the belief polio has been eradicated and is no longer a threat, it still exists so PLEASE won't you help us achieve RI's goal of ZERO by joining the Polio Plus Society at just $8.50 per month until polio is - finally and forever - eradicated from the earth, cause this fight isn't over til its over!
