Have you ever wondered about some of the details of our five southern Utah clubs which combined now have a total of 313 members?
* Cedar City (100), coincidentally is celebrating their 100th anniversary of doing good in the world this year!
* St. George Sunrise (88) has an ambitious goal to reach 100 members in DG Suzanne's year
* St George (68), had a net gain of 10 new members last year. Can we repeat our success in RY2025-26?
* Hurricane Valley (30) was the 2nd Rotary club in Washington County and decades later continues to make the world a better place
* Washington City (27) is the newest and smallest of southern Utah's five clubs but is "united for good" while doing amazing "service above self"
Utah Rotary's District Governor Suzanne Wilhelm's goal for D5420 is another 200 members by June 30, 2026 (a net increase of 4-ish in each of Utah Rotary's 45 clubs). So, who do you know who should be a member of St. George Rotary Club?
Rotary Question of the Week
In 1917, RI President Arch Klumph announced his idea forthis endowment fund dedicated to "doing good in the world" and which has to-date awarded more than $4 billion in support of life-changing, sustainable club and district projects to improve the lives of people in need around the world!
It's wild polio season again ... so its no surprise we have 3 new cases with paralysis in Pakistan bringing the worldwide total to 19 ... 2 in Afghanistan and 17 in Pakistan.
But while Rotarians know we're going in the right direction, we also know it's still out there.
If you aren't already giving to the PolioPlus Society - at an affordable $8.50 a month or $100 annuallyuntil polio is eradicated finally and forever -please see Foundation Chairs Dave, Bryan or Dale to sign up or for more information.
