An overview of SGR's 2026 Guatemala stoves project
On Monday, June 15, some of our 25 Rotarians and friends of Rotary who have recently returned from travel to the central American country of Guatemala … will report this year’s trip which SGR has made more than 20 times to build more than 3400 simple, cinderblock stoves in the homes of Mayan villagers. However, this year, there may be a slight twist to this important project … since club members and others will also be building two latrines. This is another opportunity for you to bring a neighbor, friend or co-worker to try out Rotary for themselves! See you at the Abbey Inn. |
